Couple of questions I need some help with. #1. When I attempt to make a call from my contact list, the number sequence starts out 0111 thus making it unable to complete the call. #2. I am not receiving text msgs, could possibly have disable something but, not sure of what that is.

I'm not sure about the settings, but isn't that number the country code and 1for the US? If so, maybe there is an international setting that can be turned off so it doesn't automatically dial it?

q1: How to change country code in blackberry mobile?

This is one of the most common problem for the Blackberry users all around the world.

You need to do following steps to change default country code of your mobile :-

Step 1. press menu key

Step 2.choose options

Step 3. Smart dialing

Step 4. Change country code from +1 to your need such that +91 or other.

If you are not finding "smart dialing" in options menu then you need to open call logs and press menu key.

you will find smart dialing there.


Q2. Go to Option
SMS

and check the service centre phone no:

you need to check it with your provider

so , i reckon you got your bold from overseas i believe
