I'm a club promoter and I have 11,000+ contacts that I need to message 2-3 times a week. I currently use 8310 Curve and I heard BB discontinued the group messaging or limited it to messaging 10ppl per group. Does anyone know any of the newer model BB that can still message 100+ ppl in a single group? I'm so far behind in the technology upgrades but I really need that feature if I'm going to change phones.

Sure. You can create a group Mailing List. Go to Contacts>Menu>New Group and begin adding contacts. It uses the existing address book contacts, and you can add all you want to. You can also elect an email group, or a text group, or even a PIN Group.

Using BBM, a Broadcast Message could be sent.

This method does work, I've been using it for two years.

Yes, it will take a while to add that many contacts to a group, but you can do it in stages, and once the list is created, save it and then back it up for future reference.
