being searching for the thread, do you have any idea what it's called? Sorry for the double post.
Here it is. :)
Tlynn: Thanks for the link.
Mr. Crack: Understand that this is a tough question to answer as
no one knows you or your needs.
A good place to start your research is here:

Opinions on devices are sometimes as diverse as peoples taste in ice cream. Some like vanilla, some like lots of goodies. And some folks are so narrow minded their notepads are only an inch wide. Kinda makes it difficult to get the device that is perfect for everyone.

hmmm, thanks for the input...I'm new to bb and have a 8900 and absolutely love, so i was just wondering what other ppl thought of the other bb's.
No problem. The 8900 is an excellent device, but as to which is best, the BlackBerry, any flavor.

The best one is the one that suits you best.

....and that's the truth. I came from a Motorola Razr, and went straight to the Blackberry "flagship" device, so I have no regrets, nor complaints. I don't care about the camera quality (I have an actual camera that will take better pics, 24/7, 365 days a year, than any camera phone, BB or otherwise), and I have no unrealistic expectations of what a smartphone can and should do. I can make and receive calls, I can text and surf, and I can find the nearest Thai restaurant (or Burger King), from wherever I am, and watch a movie trailer, or two. I'm good.
You have to match your expectations to the phone that will meet them. Of course, I think the Bold is the best phone ever, and perhaps you will, too (well, you bought the 8900, so...that's not the case, but you get my point). Visit the carrier stores, and play with the devices, to get a "feel" for them. Read, and read some more. If you're within the 30-day return period, and find something you like better, return it.
