I'm just returning to the BB world after a hiatus into iPhone ownership. I had a Curve last year sometime, and I remember distinctly that I did not have to enter the password on my desktop computer every time I connected my BB. Now that I have a Bold and I'm running Desktop Mgr v4.7, I'm having to enter it EVERY TIME! I've searched & gotten nowhere; can someone let me know how I can get the software to "remember" my password?

I wonder if your admins enabled Content Protection?

google for "blackberry password prompt" and "remove content protection" and "remove it policy blackberry"

There's another fix, but it's meant for storage issues, so I'd not recommend that one in this case.

google for "mass storage issues fix"

I can't post links, so I gave out search terms. Sorry!

I have a password on my BB to unlock. I'd like to keep it, just as I did on my Curve; however, I'd rather not have to enter that password on my desktop every time I connect. I know this is possible, because that's how my Curve was set up; I've Googled & searched CB, and I just can't believe there's no info on this.
