    Is there a way to clean the track pad? Mine is not responding all the time, and the plastic cover is chipping off.

    lock the screen and use a piece of waxpaper and wipe trackpad about 20 seconds.....(not a joke).....

    Thanks, that worked for a little while. How about the plastic cover on the track pad chipping away? Any way to fix that?
