Hi Guys

I am a German student and I bought my very first Blackberry Bold a week ago

It's a really great mobile phone

There is a problem I have and I don't know how to solve it.

My bold has a vodafone branding and my problem has something to do with the wifi.

My University has a wifi network and when you use it you have to sign to get connected
Everytime I try to get online with my Blackberry bold the sign in page doesn't appear.
So my conclusion is that I'm surfing via. UMTS and not with the wifi network of my University.

I activated the wifi of my BB Bold and it recognizes the router of my University, but when I start the browser the sign in page which belongs to my university doesn't appear.

All my friends who have smartphones have to sign in first.
I'm the only one who doesn't

Can someone tell me what to do?

Go to Options > Browser Configuration and change the Browser Identification to something other than BlackBerry. Hope it works for you!

Set it to hotspot browser.
