I want to buy it now and use it later when it is compatible with the Bold. I have been burning $$$ and I just finished purchasing a digi cam amongst other things and this is the time for me to rack up on stuff while my pockets are open.

Also anyone know how to use the previous version of vibandring? or would it be incompatible with the Bold?
Yes, it is tied to your PIN. But, BBSmart will issue a new registration code for a new PIN, disabling the old code. So you can buy it now, and then transfer it to your Bold.
You will only be able to use it on 1 PIN at a time
