    Evening all.

Just a question about the BB 8700. I'm looking at a couple bids on eBay atm for one of these golden oldies, exactly what a want etc etc. Whilst reading the description (thankfully) the seller noted that the phone will need a contract sim and a blackberry tariff in order to use the email and internet functions.

I just wanted to know if I could possibly get a blackberry tariff on a PAYG sim rather than a contract sim?? granted i'll only be using this phone for work and the email function would be a charm to have.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no Pay as you Go BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) plans.

BIS is the BlackBerry support that makes Email, Messenger and the Internet available. Without it, you will be limited to Voice, SMS text and the Personal Digital Assistant features.

Thanks for the reply. I had a feeling this would be the problem. Oh well, I guess i'll find a suitable package for it then. Thanks
