Every once in a while when I recieve a text or email i have to do a battery pull as when i click on my indox the new text isnt there, why is that is something wrong with my phone or do all the blackberry's do that?

i have a blackberry curve 8520 - 4.6

All BB's don't do that. Will the Curve let you seperate Email and text like the 9700? If so give it a try and see what happens.

My emails and texts are seperate, I've not tried 5.0 I'm still on 4.6 and don't want to change any software etc, but just wondering why my phone is doing that as it can be really annoyoing
