We have discovered a problem on several Sprint 8703E's in my company. The batteries are lasting only a few hours before needing a recharge. Other BBs will last two days or more. The affected BB's all show signal reception of "1X" instead of "1XEV". We have tried closing all apps, turning off bluetooth and GPS, etc., but the battery still drains in just a few hours.
Has anyone else seen this symptom? If so, what model BB and service provider are you using?
When I had Verizon, I noticed the battery would drain quicker when I lost EVDO, but it wasn't that bad. But I was using a 7130e also, might be different with the 8703e.
