So, I started integrating my google stuff with my blackberry. They pointed out something that I've wrestled with in the past, and for me is a DEAL BREAKER against blackberry!

(Hmmm I can't post a link, so you'll have to take my word for it.)

The lady says that the Blackberry operating system does not support ANY voice through data network connections. This means, no Skype, Yahoo voice, no cheap foreign calls - what's up with that? I figure that a wifi capable phone would be awesome to double as a skype phone - the iPhones do it! Android does it.

Is there a way to hack the Blackberry OS so I can put what ever I want on it? I'm sure this BB Bold 9000 has the power - why would RIM do such a thing?

You trusted a csr over research..... No good

If you have appworld, pick up IM+ Talk. It is $32 but works great!!!!!! I use it to call people pc skype accounts all the time!
