You might want to provide more info. How do you backup? Where were the photos and videos? On an SD card or in Internal Memory? I don't think Desktop Manager's backup function does anything about the SD card. When I've updated the OS, the backup function has restored the few photos I have in internal memory. I don't know why the calendar disappeared. Do you use Desktop manager? Do you have another backup? Why were you trying to restore?
same with me. i have a few pics and stuff used for avatars that i keep in internal memory. those always get backed up and restored properly.
I have my S2 last week, I had not face this problem yet, but it will nice to know about this in advance. Any one have idea about this? I also wanna to know about this.
i think you can to an advanced restore/backup. its possible he didnt have the proper or all options checked before doing a backup. try doing a full, advanced backup and make sure all options are selected.
