Hi,

Newby so have mercy please. My BB is only associated with a simple pop3 account and I do not use the BB messenger. How can I stop these two (unnecessary for me I think) icons from appearing in the task switcher application as they add un-needeed clutter ?

you would have to delete them using http://forums.crackberry.com/f35/cra...eleased-52044/ . but i wouldnt delete them. at some point you might want them again.. its your call though

or you can delete it manually ..options..advance options..applications..blackberry messg...press bb button(the one with all the dots) and delete

How about just hiding the icons? Press menu and select hide and you won't see them. You never know when you might actually use them so they would still be there.

it wouldnt do any good to hide them if they are in the app switcher
