I would appreciate if anyone could help here. When I try to do a backup to my computer, I get an error message that reads

"The data was not recognized by the device"

What does this mean and how do I get a good backup of my address book, messages, programs, etc.

Note, I was able to do a successful back up a few weeks ago. One day, this message popped up and I have never been able to back up since.
