Ok, I downloaded a video odf limewire, and it is in the AVI format, but it still won't play on my BB. I get an error message saying that it is in the wrong format. I read the whole Blackberry101 on video and nothing is working. Any help would be great!

First question, will this same .avi file play on your PC?

I would try converting/re-encoding it to another file format, then back to .avi or as an mpeg-4 file

try any video converter. it's free and it works like a charm and pretty fast. you can also adjust the size, quality, format of the video.
