I loooove autotext. It's like my favorite feature of the BB. It's why I think I'll never go to another phone.

I have added so many words and phrases to my dictionary, to the point where I can make full sentences out of just a couple letters. I even add some autotext to my friends' BBs I hate netspeak (u, r, 2, c, etc) when full words will do. So if I have a friend who writes like that, I change their BB autotext to fix it for them...bad I know

Anyway, I have all sorts of things added to mine...

idk--i dont know
idw-i dont want
idt-i dont think
ilbt-i'll be there
omw-on my way
mtg-meeting
imns-i'm not sure

and lots more, including the basic u, r, rnt, ure, ur, etc for stuff that I can change to make texting easier and less time consuming.

Just interested in seeing if anyone else is the same way and what sorts of shortcuts you've created for yourself

I text and email and write on another forum a lot from my phone so I have things added to make it easier to type long things. Shorthand just makes it easier.

(My boyfriend gets irked when I type "ilut" and forget to space before sending it to him hahaha

My boyfriend says "prolly" a lot in text. I don't know why, but I hate that!! I changed his BB the other day to change it to "probably". I don't think he knows yet!

I try to make mine as short and easy as possible. I try to use the same letter twice, it makes it faster:

mm-Good Morning
ll-Lunch time
tt-Talk to you later
ss-See you later
bk-Break time (Blackberry beat me to bb !)
hu-How are you ?
hy-Hey you whats up !
