Can someone please tell me how to turn it off?
I've sat on the phone with "att&t" for hours and i hate talking to those assholes.
every week or so, it deletes all my messages and emails and call log... im ABOUT to throw it out the window.

Try going into your e-mail. Select 'Options' then 'General Options' and change Keep Messages to the time you want. Hope this helps :D

i tried all of those, none seemed to work.. anybody else have any suggestions?

Wow, that's a terrible glitch to have. I hope all your problems get sorted out. I'd be furious if I lost my e-mail or call logs. Have you tried contacting RIM? If the links posted above won't help, neither will customer service at AT&T. It took me 15 minutes on the phone to try to get my rollover minutes back (minutes they took away for nothing.) I'm glad I have my Blackberry with T-Mobile.
If you do call them, ask them to talk to a Blackberry specialist. They're usually the second or third tier in help.

I had to do a battery pull on my 8310 this weekend because about every 5 minutes it would wipe my call log clean - never had the problem with the messages/emails tho =/
if you figure it out, post some details :)
