I started listening to audiobooks while working out. The "chapters" are in proper sequence on media player, but they play as if in shuffle, even if I click play. So it goes from what is labeled Part 01 to Part 05 or Part 08. I can't get it to automatically move to Part 02 when 01 is done. Any suggestions?
You checked and shuffle/random whatever it toggled off. The files are sequentially named with leading zeros where necessary? Do they have TRACK numbers?
I guess you could try creating a Playlist of the chapters/parts and then play that list.
If you check shuffle once, do you have to hit it again to untoggle it? It doesn't have checks, so I cna't tell. But I have the audio book in a separate playlist, and simply hit PLAY thinking that would then NOT be shuffle. So, is there someway to be sure shuffle is off? The file names are exactly the same execept for the PART. All files end with PART 1, PART 2, etc. I could see Part 11 having a problem, but mine goes from 1 to 3 or 5 next for example.
Thanks, it seems like there are two places for this. If I highlight the playlist and hit menu, I can hit shuffle or play. But if I am already playing a chapter, and then I hit menu, the shuffle option has the toggle check mark. That was my problem. Thanks.
