    I have an alert on my front screen to upgrade an app (Blackberry apps)

    1/ My company has barred upgrading

    2/ I dont need it upgrading

    How do i get rid of the alert????

    you can try by clicking the notification to acknowledge it, opening appworld or maybe by opening the app itself.

    you know it never occurred to me to click on/open the actual upgrade message - but that cleared it from the screen

    its usually the number one way to clear a notification.

    It's those other times that will drive your IT guys and Execs nuts.

    Most corporate users will be locked into the IT approved code. If they determine it is a worth while upgrade, they will take charge and responsibility for doing mass upgrades.
