I saw it at Best Buy and couldn't see typing on it. It's real clunky on the right side and can't get my small hands around it to easily use my right thumb.
Anyone else notice this?

I played around with one and I wasn't all that impressed... it felt kinda cheap to me. seems like there are so many awesome phones out there that just feel cheap...or maybe I'm too picky. Oprah sure does love it though, if she gets her head lodged out of her *** maybe she'll give you her opinion of it :P
Just my opinion, but I'm not impressed. The keyboard layout doesn't look "hands friendly" to me either - similar to the Voyager, which is big and bulky to use when typing!
Yeah, I'm not too impressed with it either. It looks very bulky and awkward, but hey that's just my opinion.

Biggest problem with the G1 in my opinion (just pictures, it isn't available in Europe) is that the screen slides up but the part with the send and end buttons on it remains in place, so you have this big bloated piece of plastic next to it, which makes it hard to type with your right hand.
it's a waste.
Looks more like a kids toy. I'd wait til the next gen G1 comes out.
