Using the 9900 right now and only switching because I've been dying to really dive into bb10. My z10 should be here by the end of the week, just waiting for my US address forwarding service.

My wife is still using her 9550, all she does is take photos, text, and BBM. I am planning on getting her a Z30, she does not like iphone, though she has a ipad. I am still using my 9850, our upgrades are way pass due, but nothing last like a BB phone, pure work horse. Try that with a plastic android phone. As for the other point, I visit the web site several times a day, I am just not going to engage in threads which have no informational value.

Still rocking my 9800 while holding out for a z30 on att. Currently celebrating "temptation resistance". There were some great deals around, but I just knew that if I pulled the buy trigger then att would announce the z30 and I would be "had".

Now, ATT, off your duff and get the z30!!

I dropped my 9930 a few months back and it started having issues connecting to data services. I didn't have enough money at the time to buy a brand new BB10 device so I bought a new 9850 instead. It is a great device but I will be upgrading to a Z10 in February!

Until May 2013, I was using my Bold 9780. I loved that phone. I even named it! But I upgraded to a Q10 and I've been in love ever since! But I still have a lot of respect for legacy devices, and I sometimes miss my white 9780.

I'm currently using a Curve 9360. I'm generally happy with it. Though my wife just purchased a Q10 and using hers is making me itch to upgrade! I will more than likely stick to my 9360 until it croaks though, by that point the next generation hardware will more than likely be out.

Still using a 9350 on the company mobile service. Was told we are probably changing carriers in early 2014. No indication what is coming next, but heard CEO say he was holding onto his BlackBerry (he has what looks like a 9650) until they go bankrupt. There are probably 6-8 of us left on the legacy devices.

I've realized alot of people who subscribed to one of my channels are still on legacy devices. They would always ask "why are the pictures small?".

I went from a Curve 9360 to a Bold 9900. Either of these phones has more than enough features for me. I also get to keep my cheap yet efficent monthly BB7 plan. The 9900 is really nice, but I do miss the FM radio I had in the curve.

Purchased a Storm [2] 3 years ago. Purchased a legacy curve 9320, to the best of my recollection last week. Needed fresh. Never had a dedicated keyboard, I see why peeps like it, simply smashing. Today I upgraded to a Q5. Reasons are it was offered for 5 bucks more on my current plan. Hmmmm. Don't know it yet. But I think I like it. Seems to be the best or worse [half full or ha` empty], depending on your point of view. Slick presentations and miles away from the storm. Different child from the new Curve, also. ymmv. Cheers!

BB10 is the future and ultimately every BB user on legacy devices could upgrade, but the question is, how well does BB10 address functionality and reliability with an intuitive user interface?

I'm using a Torch 9810 at present with an upgrade due September 2014, which I'm not sure I'll take advantage of as I like the bridge functionality with my Playbook.
BlackBerry Bridge has been updated with full BlackBerry 10 support, so I don't think switching to BB10 will be a problem when your upgrade is due.

BlackBerry is not for everyone - that is what has been pointed out several times - and their strategy is moving back to the core of loyal business users. They have been on the system for years and they know it inside out and it has always worked for them.
So for this kind of people, there's no real need to switch right now. As we can see in this forums, some people have even switched back to a legacy device and I think that is a phenomenon which really is not seen with any other platform. Why would someone switch from an iPhone 5s back to a more than 2 years old iPhone for example.

This shows that for most core users, on whom BlackBerry is concentrating right now, it is just the user experience that counts. Lots of features have not been implemented on BB10 yet and lots of new features are just not of any importance to them.

At the same time, the mainstream smartphone user ist not into BlackBerry because of the missing apps and it's bad reputation and, most important, he is just not willing to learn a new OS. For them, the productivity factor is negligible. They can get things done on their iPhones or Android devices well enough.

So until the existing user base is going to switch it is still going to take some time I think. The situation pictured on CB might also not represent reality. I'd guess that the most loyal BlackBerry customers are not registered on CB.
