    email setup is telling me wrong password/username. i can log into it on the computer but not on the phone. resending service books work via computer, but no go from the phone. anyone else having issues???

    Not me. Works fine on my end. Toronto canada, telus mobility. OS 5.0.0.1014.

    thanks. this only started today. i know it occurs from time to time (as reported in other threads here) but i wonder if this has to do with the BBID fix kevin posted about.

    ok so im still having issues. like i said, when i log in it tells me wrong username or password. but when i log into the BIS site using the same info it works. also, if i click "forgot password" it tells me the application has encountered an error with the server and to try again.

    I have the same problem in NE Ohio on my Bold on verizon. Tried to put another hotmail account to my phone.

    Wait! Stop the presses!!!! I've been having issues with the email setup app since yesterday, not being able to log in (I use T-Mobile on my 9700, OS6). It checks for the email accounts, but then gives an error message saying the device had a problem connecting to the server. Retrying gives the same error.

    I was *this* close to wipe and reload the OS, but decided first to check the forums... u guys saved me from going the long way to try and fix this issue!

    Is there any official word as to why is this happening and when it may be fixed? Thanks!

    Has anybody tried following and tweeting @blackberryhelp this current issue? It only seems to affect OS 6, since 5 isn't affected (based on from reading this) at all. That is RIM's official help twitter account, and it's better than paying!
