i'm trying to get my unlocked blackberry hooked to rogers bis. i'm not sure if i have to install the specific os for rogers, or can i try another os? is the rogers specific os full of settings that i need in order to connect to rogers bis?

please help!

some things might be specific to the carrier but you can probably just download the newest os from BlackBerry

AFAIK, you don't need to. I am using a Vodafone Curve but I'm on Celcom (Malaysia carrier).

If they send you your service books, I guess you're good to go...
