Does anyone have an update on the enhanced Gmail plug in that was announced by RIM last month? Release date? How it will be released?

Anybody who has beta tested the plug in care to comment on there findings?

I know that I posted a similar thread in the 3rd party app discussion.....which was probably the wrong spot.
