If you have the checkmark, then it was "sent".
A myriad of factors can affect when the recipient actually receives it. None of which are under your control.
Also you can check your GMail account online and see the message.
In options there should be delivery receipts. Enable it.
Thx for the reply.
I'm not seeing anything after the email is sent. Even when the email goes through. Is there a setting I'm missing that shows the checkmark?
thx
I've enabled delivery receipts but after i send an email the email disappears and there is nothing besides *No Messages* at the top of the screen. Also, does turning on delivery receipts also send me an email back telling me the email went through? I don't want that. Just the "checkmark".
thx
"I'm not seeing anything after the email is sent." What does that mean? You don't see the message with a check in your Messages folder? Do you have "Sent Messages" hidden?
Check your Messages options.
I don't use delivery receipts so I don't know how that affects the functionality.
So you are saying that after you select send, the sent message *does not show* in your messages app at all?

While in Messages you should be able to press Alt-O to see outgoing messages, or something like MenuKey > View Folder > Sent (I'm on BES so I'm not sure of the folder structure for BIS).

I think I finally figured it out. My 9930 was setup so it didn't show sent messages. I now see them. I also turned off the Send delivery receipt and turned on Confirm Delivery option.
Thx 4 the help!
