I have always suggested to people that want to use a corporate email to get a cheaper device for work. Get an 8700 for work and use your bold/storm/8900 curve or whatever for your personal stuff. It seems the only way to keep your private stuff out of Big Brothers hands.

Heh. The only kind of messages I get are things like a reminder to pick up some bananas after work. From what I gather, they can monitor the BBM you send by forcing your BB to send a copy via e-mail to the admin, but they can't get BBM you receive unless they can enforce the same IT policy on the other person.
I can see why BBM is disabled by some BES admins.
