Blackberry Maps shows your speed, but to see it you have to go to the GPS Navigation option on the menu

GPSLogger is awesome i use it all the time when im snowboarding. Has a lot of features and displays your course over a graph interface. Also tells you you max speed, average speed, elevation started and ended at and elevation change. Really cool free app.

This is crazy. I just tried to download Blackberry Maps to my Tour and it says my device does not meet system requirements!!!??? WTF? I have the latest OS on it, according to RIM desktop program. I know I had it on there when I got the BB last July but it got wiped when I had it in for servicing. Now it says it isn't supported??

A minor glitch with the website - it is probably configured for older devices because maps is standard in all OS builds > v4.6

Download the current (or upgrade) OS for your device and install onto your PC, then install maps from Desktop Manager.
