    Good Day Gents,

    Long time reader, first time poster.

    I have been a BB user since 2004 and owned every model of Berry since then.
    I would consider myself a pretty knowledgeable BB user.

    but i am stumped.... and its driving me crazy.

    my colleague here at the office is a 9000 owner and i am trying to help her.

    her Hotmail account was recently hacked (surprise she hasnt changed her password in years)

    being the Blackberry Genius i think i am i offered to help her out by changing her password info after she updated her password online.

    i went into the phones email set up.
    edit settings
    updated to her new password

    and now she cant send or receive anything... man is my face red. what i though was so easy wasnt.

    i deleted the account and reinstalled it.... nothing...
    i re-registered the phone with the network.... nothing...
    battery pull... nothing...
    service book update.... nothing...

    i am stumped. been working on this phone reading every forum and saw nothing other then people with similar problems and getting no where...

    i cant leave her hanging without email on her phone...

    i am back at square-one.

    what am i missing?

    This happened to me about a year ago with hotmail. I have VZW so I contacted them and they (and I) deleted the account and re installed and it worked. It sounds like you're doing the right things to me.

    I'm with Rogers here in Canada.

    I called them and spent over an hour on the phone with them doing various resets and password changes.

    it still doesnt work after all of that.

    I am lost and dont know what else to do.
