Question. Is android wear , Google services and Chromecast Going to work with 10.3?

probably not. especially the google services. Chromecast might but it doesnt right now and i doubt it magically will without google services

they might be able to send notifications but not the two way interactions/sync that Wear has with Android devices with Google Frameworks.

If you watched the Google I/O keynote, they talked a lot about the various ways they will be leveraging Google Services Framework to tie various devices together and to make apps more relevant and engaging. It's in Google's best interest to get developers using GSF, and so they also have to make it in the best interests of the developers and users to do so, and they are doing just that.

Obviously, they'd have done this anyway, but there's no doubt that a part of the push to do so comes from the various companies attempting to use Google Play apps to bolster their app ecosystem. That's not just BB, but also Nokia, Amazon, Jolla Sailfish, and others.

Nothing prevents those same developers from making a fork of their app that replaces Google's services with Amazon's, Nokia's, or whomever, but as the integration of GSF gets deeper and more substantial, it becomes more and more difficult to replace with alternatives, and so developers have to decide if it is worth doing all of that work for such a small market.

Google is reporting over 1 billion monthly active Google-certified Android devices in use. BB has about 7M BB10 phones, and Amazon has, what?, 25-30M Fire tablets? It's easy to see where developers are going to focus.
