Much has been going on about Android in next BlackBerry device. Personally I use BlackBerry for its OS more than the device. So if BlackBerry goes Android, I might not use BlackBerry.

What if BlackBerry does not develop a device but rather improves the Android experience with BB10 features we love so much. They can sell it as a suite with all of BlackBerry apps and features - lockscreen, launcher, BBM(all paid features), security, Blend, keyboard, etc. If priced right this can be more profitable for BlackBerry without much investment in hardware.

    And next would be iOS.

Kind of like what Google offers to smartphone users but not for free? I'm not saying that Google offers everything that BB10 does, however, these suites of functionality are usually aren't purchased. Even Microsoft does some of this, now.

Improve on Google actually. Whatever they do, do it better.

Google has practically unlimited funds to do whatever they want for consumers including, most recently, storing all of your digital photos online indefinitely for free. They can hire the best and the brightest. I'd recommend a different strategy for BlackBerry.

I love the BB10 Os, and if BB decides to dump it. I am not going to Android. I guess a windows phone will b my future.

If this was true Play Store would have been empty or all Google apps.

Yeah right have you seen Samsung try to improve Google? LOL. Or perhaps HTC with their Sense UI or Sony Xperia attempt to improve Google is making both company go broke.

But it benefits Google (and everybody else) to encourage third-party development. Iron sharpening iron.

Google does have the best suite of mobile utilities.

So if BlackBerry's design, UI and usability team tackles this seemingly impossible task, they might actually succeed and create some little ripper phones with mass appeal that might actually sell!

Sure, keep the BB10 line for us purists and military, health, gov't and enterprise... :-)
