    I've been trying to run some apps on the BB10 Vmware image without success.
    Does anyone know if Whatsapp, Facebook Lite, Instagram Lite, Uber or any of those famous apps still run?

    Also there's still a trick to run Google play?

    I'm asking because there are brand new Q10's in my country as low as 50 dollars.

    Some do and some don't. WhatsApp still works (get the download directly from WA website and no need for Google Play). Some of the others you mentioned work better with the website version and not an app. Google Play Store can be accessed but fewer and fewer apps are working (the BB10 android runtime is stuck on ver 4.3 so anything needing 4.4 or above simply won't work).

    How about performance and integration, does Whatsapp works like a lagging hell or it's just fine?
    The notifications end up on the Hub?

    No lag at all. It works perfect....for sure it uses a bit more battery than the good old native version..

    If it's $50 for a secondary phone to learn more about BB10... go for it.

    If you want a phone that works in today's smartphone market for a year or more... put the $50 towards something else.

    My experience with Android WhatsApp on a BB10 phone is OK - but no5 like the original BB10 app.

    Input is slower and everything is a bit laggy. But... A big but... It still works!
