I think if BB10 featured this, we'd have a really powerful tool to work with. The idea of peeking and swiping into any app, not just notifications or unified inbox, seems more useful.

Lol, can't really blame em. I'm sure BB10 was in their minds when they came up with this. But, at the end of the day, if it's better, it's better. And from the look of the video, it most definitely seems better to me.

When I read about this earlier in the day from my Google news feed, the first thing I thought about, was how similar it was to BB10's peek and flow. They even use the word peek in their promotions. But, in reality, the concept isn't new to BB10 or any platform there after. This new company just took an old concept and developed it better than Blackberry. They went beyond the features and functionality of BB10. I signed up for it and can't wait to try it out.

True about the stuttering (definitely an issue with Samsung Android phones) but every company has issues with software fragmentation. That is what happens with old phones and budget phones - even Blackberry can relate especially with its BBOS phones.

It's actually nice, BB10 comes to mind when it comes to tgat gesture to peek, but not much. it is however an app...lol

I think BB10 can accomplish this built into the os as an option. If they wanted to ofc

I also think this would suceed better if it was some what of a launcher when it comes to android though.

Actually it does not look made by android but it's an app instead. I think that blackberry could easily put this on BB 10.3. Really cool features and the peek gesture reminds me the peek on BB10.

In a way they did copy BB10 but they made it to where you can switch from app to app where with BlackBerry you peek and switch to the Hub.

it's a very smart way to integrate a lock screen type app with apps running. i would love BB10 to do this and perfect it. it learns you similar to priority hub but applied across the board.

Geo location everything probably. Also by tracking how quickly you're going they could tell if you're in the car or not.

It looks nice but isn't it just another way to launch /access running apps? You have to touch the icon with your finger then Swipe into an app rather than touch into an app.

The thing about the hub isn't just that you swipe into it, but that it's an integrated messaging centre accessible from anywhere.

That's what blackberry want the devs to have in mind when building a BB10 app, sense adapt and extend. That app would be a real winner on BB10 in the eyes of blackberry.

Sorry for the confusion, I know it's an app/launcher and not officially from Android.

I put Android in the thread title so people would not mistake it for a BB10 app.

Cool nonetheless, and if BB10 did have this it would for sure increase it's utility. Then it would be a matter of getting the apps people want/need in order to fully utilize the potential of Cover...

I have about 6-7 apps running the background and "stealing information" on my LG G Pro... This thing is still fast as the day I got it.

I like it. It would be cool if BB10 had the option to do something similar or even stick a shortcut to your favorite app on the lock screen. I would totally want this if I was using Android.
