So I had to get a new Tour because I screwed mine up--long story.

Went to download Amaze GPS because it is (was) the most useful free GPS app. Unfortunately, the new version which must have been put up within the past week is ad-supported with annoying popups that tell you to "upgrade" (for $$ of course).

The new version is good, but I don't need a bunch of bull****, I just want turn-by-turn directions.

Anybody have the .jar for any version below 5.0?

oh, and it appears turn-by-turn is gone on the 'free' version now as well.

That explains the massive delays that plagued 5.0's release.... Sounds like they just shot themselves in the foot twice.

People were already pissed off from the 5.0 delays.

It looks like they got rid of their forum entirely also. I guess they didn't want to hear the massive complaining? Bwuahahaha.... Time to boot amaze's crap off my site.

thanks for that link, I just d/led 4.5 and it still works. Since you have to login though it's only a matter of time before they get rid of that and freeze out all the old free users.

i got an old garmin jad and jar that never needed reg any way i could setup my own ota to see if it worked on my bb i used it on my i580 for years
