What worries more, all the EOL apps are BlackBerry exclusive apps that work only on BlackBerry branded devices.
And they weren't being used by (almost) anyone.

Which means pulling the plug simply makes financial sense

If the entire apps suite is already downloaded on the BlackBerry branded phone, how could they now that Notable is less being used than Dtek?

I agree, how would they know? I didn't get a survey asking about it. Even if I had, it doesn't make sense to rank apps by how often they are used, depending on what the specific app does. I use Notable quite a bit. Not every day, but it is good to know it is there when I want to make something quick with graphics, photos etc and use it for myself or for my business. I know it is there when I need it.

    Notable is a separate download.

It's not going anywhere. It's just not being developed any further.

Will it continue to be available when I upgrade my phone?

I would expect so. Use an apk extractor if you're worried.

I just read about that today's morning. I don't know if this is true or not. No update in Thurber's Twitter.
What does that mean to the future of upcoming BlackBerry-branded devices?
BlackBerry already sent several Android apps to EOL. Don't you think this could harm the sales numbers of BlackBerry devices?

    Thanks
BlackBerry limited doesn't make hardware anymore. You're looking at TCL/blackberrymobile.

True... but his position also wasn't filled. Clearly BlackBerry is reorganizing that department, to better adjust to the current level of sales, and not what they had hoped sales were going to be.

Middle manager should be able to oversee it.

I hope you are correct that it will continue.
