What am I doing wrong?
I can send IM to my wife's LG phone and all is OK. In order for me to receive a reply, I must send a second message (after she has sent her reply) in order to receive the reply massage.
Maybe it has to do with the movement of your data. It seems like maybe it's getting stuck and it is relying on your outgoing message to push the not-yet-received incoming message through. That would be my best guess. Either a data or network problem. I don't suspect it has to do specifically with your device.
