I have read about people having AIM and such on their BBs.
    How??

It was installed on my 8320 when I bought it. My brother just bought an 8310 though and the only messenger was the BB messenger. He is going to do an OS upgrade and see if the messengers appear.

Yeah. I got Yahoo and Messenger. But I haven't figured out how to get AIM. Do you think I could just go online via my phone and get it?

I had all the messengers on my 8320. I removed them all and purchased JiveTalk. All IM's in one app. 30 day free trial...give 'em a try:

-My dad has a 7250 and he says it doesn't work on his.
    Now I have a 8130 - newer - will it work on them?(JiveTalk)

-But, I have Yahoo, and I just want Aim, not the others, how can I do that?

-Also, what is a OS upgrade?

Yes, JiveTalk will work. I've not heard of JiveTalk not working on the 7250.

If you just got the 8130 then there is no need for an OS upgrade yet.

    Ok cool.

I didn't think I needed an upgrade - I was just curious what "Os Upgrade" ment.
I'm really new to all this and I didn't know what that was haha.

An OS upgrade is an update to the Operating System of your BB. If you're not having any issues then there's no need to upgrade.

    Cool, Thanks a bunch
Sorry if I'm gettin' annoying, but one more question - With Jive, can I run more then 1 instant messenger at once?

Yep, you can be logged into all of them at the same time. I have aol, Google, and Yahoo all logged in at the same time.

Good luck! It's a one time fee for JiveTalk. Be sure and get the $29 license as it's transferrable to a new device if you upgrade or have to exchange yours for any reason. If you get the $19 license it's for only ONE BB. If you upgrade, you'll have to purchase again.

Yeah I was reading about that
But I doubt i'm getting an upgrade anytime soon.

But I have to talk to my dad about it. Since it was his gift to me haha.
    Thanks again

But if your device fails and you get another under warranty your license is not transferrable.
