My curve is toast! of all things, BEFORE I was to do a software upgrade. I turned the phone off, and then back on, but got the error message, 507.
I did everything, and even called tech support through at&t. nothing worked. so, I called warranty and they are sending me a "new" one and it should be here friday. Now, what are the odds of getting a refurb? do all warranty exchanges involve refurbs, or will it be 'new' like the guy said.
How old was the phone? If it is past 30 days its a refurb far as I know...... Did you go through the dead berry thread to try to resolve it? Guess it doesnt matter now since you are getting a replacement...... Good luck
