They are putting all there money on the bold, I was just thinking that since the torch touch most resembles the phones everyone is buying, shouldn't they spend some money on the torch line up????????

Well, I guess that a lot of people have went to the Torch until RIM can find a "bricking cure" for the 9900/9930. Then again there are those who prefer the larger screen of the Torch Touch.

i'm wondering the same. my torch (9860) is an awesome phone imo and can't figure out why it's being left in the dust.

On that Best and Worst of 2011 on CNN on the 31st, one of the journalists there commented on how much she loves her Torch, even held it up to the camera.

    So so free advertising there!

IMO they should not have called it the torch touch. It gets confused with the original torch(9800/9810), RIM should have just called it the Blackberry touch.

That Torch is a sexy looking phone. I gave one to my wife for our anniversary and I want one real bad. Its fast and screen is great, it is a shame she had to put a case on it since is so nice looking.

I've seen that video a few times and thought it was great. It actually shows off quite a bit of the phone and not some gimmicky advertising around it. Would love to start seeing this on tv like we've been seeing the Bold.

I think the Torch name is a little confusing/overused, seeing as they have 2 models with the same name, and the only thing the helps tell them apart are the model numbers, but Blackberry has waayyyy too many model numbers already.

The Bold is an awesome phone, but showcasing that alone will lead people to believe blackberry does not have an all touch phone.

I just can't understand why Rim do such dumb things! For one u took so long to advertise your Bb7 line up of phones to the point where so many people had no clue there were new Bbs available. Now you're advertising to potentially new customers, But you're gonna sell them a phone with a sub-par camera and bricking issues and a short battery life, and by the way here is the kicker this is our so called flagship phone. To me i think my torch 9850 is the best most up to date Bb phone phone on the market that can go toe for toe with all of the competition out there, It has one of the biggest most flawless touch screen ever presented on a Bb, Which makes for a great wed brousing experience, Decent battery life, And a flawless camera. This is where there advertising dollars should be going...

Right thought, but maybe wrong Torch? The thing that has always made RIM stand out is the physical keyboard. The 9810 has a good one, plus a good sized touchscreen, a camera that actually does some things better than my real camera, and decent battery life.
