I use Adobe on my Z10.

Is there a way to rename a file after its downloaded to Adobe?

    Yup!
Goto file manager. Then device. Then downloads. Long press and hold on the file. A new menu should Pop up. Hit properties. Then at the bottom you should see an edit icon. Press that and voila.

    One more thing.

How about bookmarks? When I reopen the book, it always takes me back to the beginning.

Do you mean bookmarks for adobe?
I bought a pdf e book reader from the app store which keeps the bookmark stored.
