I am using a 8900 my company IT policy is also installed in it. The problem is I cant add/edit/delete any contact from the handset the momenbt I try it hangs. For these actions I had to go back to my desktop.

That is an unusual setting policy. I would guess your IT guys decided it was a risk to them and they enabled that policy.

You might want to get a memo authorizing you to update from your desktop, just in case they blow a gasket when they find out you have done that.
