I want to be able to add contacts via my pc. I have an 8703e and have installed Desktop Manager vs 4.7.0.32 [Nov 4 2008]. It does not seem to have that ability and was wondering if anyone knew of a way to do this. This is a new unit to me and I have not as of yet activated it. I was also wondering if I can transfer my data from my regular verizon phone onto this one via backupassistant?

You can add contacts through Outlook and then sync.
No to the Backup Assistance, easiest to take it into a store, let them do it for you.
