Why they don't air it on tv... or just put this ad in every movie?

Because BlackBerry never made the ad nor do they own it. But yeah, they could buy the rights for it and air it. It would be a great ad to run, especially now.

Also was on the front page of CB at one point IIRC.

And BlackBerry does not have anywhere near the cash to play this before every movie.

Wow, yeah....would have been far more effective than their attempt at faux apple style.

Much better than the super bowl ad they made that makes z10 a phone that can change a 10 wheeler truck to thousands of oranges. -.-

This ad would have also cost them approximately $14 million, if they could even get a 90 second spot rather than the standard 30.

That ad is pretty good, but I think they need brand ambassadors. If they could get some celebrities to start publicly displaying their BlackBerry devices (and they almost all have them due to the privacy advantages), it would go a long way and probably be fairly inexpensive.

That's more likely. But being said that Alicia Keys is out of the screen, they should find another model who is good enough for the company not just waiting for paycheck every month. -_-

Brand ambassadors is weak unless those people ACTUALLY use the brand. You can't just hire people to SAY they use your stuff, it fails pretty much every time cause they always get busted not using the products.

Even if they do use the devices I'm not convinced it really has all that much effect, at least not enough to justify the price tag. They're better off using the cash wining and dining tech journalists and listening to their trash while telling them how right they are.

It's a cool spot, but it wouldn't make a difference to the bottom line. I assume you would be trying to get the consumer market with this commercial. There is no commercial that would help BlackBerry sell to the consumer.

That is a very good ad! I know BlackBerry didn't make it, but they should have, and they should have aired it extensively. I think it would have gotten a lot of people to at least take a look at BB10.

voice over needs a rewrite, but I get what they're trying to do... I think running an ad like this on CNN after seamless Android app installation is integrated and calling it BlackBerry 11 might be what the doctor ordered.
