Just an idea, could BlackBerry create two size variations to active frames, some don't really need to be that big, and can fit more on on screen, with ability to sort or move Active Frames.

I think the ability to pin an active frame to the first slot would be more useful. Like my battery meter app....

I agree that the ability to adjust the size of active frames and to pin them would make them more useful.

Definately an interesting concept. . . but if you get too many apps going you'll run into memory issues. Not sure if allowing more active frames to be viewed on the screen at a time would necessarily facilitate more apps being open at once, but I think I've only ever gotten up to 5 at a time, so may not be an issue for me lol

I think just so much more can be done with Active Frames, they form a key part of the OS, and if you pin four or five key frames, almost like your daily digest or information Center in real time, from News, stocks etc.....

I think the main feature I would want is to pin frames; maybe even create a new screen for pinned frames...who knows? But I find active frames to be less and less useful because of the Android apps, and even a lot of native apps don't even utilize the active frames.

I'd be okay with a limit on pinned active frames. Two would be fine. The only priority I'd like to see in these frames is that the OS can't arbitrarily kill them when another app is opened. Instead the OS must kill an unpinned active frame.
