my application contains 3 buttons when i click on start camera should start recording. currently i only manage to get camera. i need to press start again as in regular camera.
i am using JDE 4.3 .................................................. .
Are you selecting the correct icon? There is an icon for camera and an icon for video camera. When you click on the video camera, it should open and then just click the trackball again to start recording. What is the problem that you are having?

No. But you can make it open with a side key and then you would then just click the trackball to start recording.
To do this go to options > screen/keyboard > right/left convenience key > select video camera.

can i add my buttons or menu to native video .............
means i will directly open video thr' my application ..
if user want new video he will press trackball other wise with other soft key i will show my other options (for example - play)......
No. The only thing that can be set on the convenience keys will appear in the list in the options screen where you assign them. When you go to the screen/keyboard > convenience key and select one to change, the list that comes up are the only things that can be assigned to the keys.
