Has anyone seen this before? If so, what does it stand for? Can't find any documentation for it. Thanks for the help.

What in the world??? All I've ever seen is "D" and "R". Maybe if you set an alert for when that person is available it becomes "A"???? I've never set that alert before.

D=The message has actually been delivered to the person and the notification is on their homescreen.

R=The message was opened and "read" by the person. So if they read and don't respond, you know it was on purpose

Ok I think I figured it out. When I change my theme to the Verizon theme, message goes from "D" to "A" so I'm assuming thats when the message was read. If I change to a theme I've downloaded, it goes from "D" to "R".

This is what I've always thought it meant. I've seen it before too, you're not alone, OP. I've read somewhere that it means the same thing as "D" ... Not sure how entirely true this is.

I always get the "A" at the bottom of the smiley, and its usually when they are typing a response, is this what everyone else gets too?

I have seen some themes like this. It depends on the message icons the developer uses in Plazmic.

That's how it is in 4.6 and 4.7 OS.
