Hey,

First of all, sorry about the place i'm posting

2nd, i would like to now if its hard to unlock a Torch 9800.

The thing is, that my carrier doesnt have it available, but another carrier does.

Is it hard?

its actually very simple. you just have to get an unlock code. Most unlocking websites will neex your imei and prd code. usually can be done for under 5 dollars and there are a few free sites. I can't recall the one I used.

When you get an unlocking code from a reliable source instructions should come with the code. Follow the instructions carefully and all is simple and should work the first time.

If the code fails twice and you are sure the entry is correct stop trying. Something is wrong with either the code or the process. Fail 10 times and you have a hardlocked device. that is not easy to remedy.

Lots of reliable unlockers in the forums. horizonwirelessonline.com is the only one I use. Reliable and inexpensive. Recommended.
