I'm currently selling my 1 month old Nexus S. I mean it was a great phone, it just wasn't doing what I needed it to do. So I'm now on the market for a used 9900. I've been going threw threads mentioning how the Bold is slow, needing battery pulls, countless hourglasses, and just laggy. I'm considering the 9900 and iPhone. The only thing holding me back is what I've heard about the Bold. Is it really true?

And also, looking at used Bolds, is there anything I should look out for?

The Bold is actually pretty fast.
& if you download the QuickPull app (battery pull without physically having to remove the battery) you can set a schedule for when you want it "pulled" so it would be less of an annoyance to actually pull it.
Mine is set for 2AM while I"m sleep lol.

I'd get the Bold, its a really reliable phone. (from what I've experienced so far)
I personally haven't experienced any lag or the hourglass.

If you're buying a used one make sure that you can return it if you have a problem. If you like the BB way of doing things, you'll like the 9900.
