Hello, I know alot about both of these phone but I have yet been able to use them. The main difference is their prices being the 9810 is 450$ and the 9860 is 600$. Is the extra screen real estate worth the price? Also, is the keyboard of the torch 2 as bad as the first one?

    Thanks

What was wrong with the 9800 keyboard? As far as I know, and can tell, they are the exact same.

The 9860 is a great full touch smart phone by Blackberry, i think it's worth the money and this Blackberry is really sweet for those who like the horizontal use of the phone.

The Torch 9810 is also nice and good option for the price it's offered.
I would go with the 9860 or 9900 but if saving money so 9810 can be a good option

I wasn't a fan of the 9800 keyboard. The slider was wobbly and it was annoying to switch back and forth from the physical to virtual keyboard. I eventually switched to a Bold. I think you're best to go with a 9860 if you're looking for a Torch, but it's just my opinion. You should go check out both devices at a store and compare them before you make a decision. Good luck!

Actually, the 9810 has NO wobble, as there was a change to the slider mechanism from the 9800.
And the slideout keyboard works really well (even with big fingers) and I find having both the slideout and virtual keyboard a great option.
The 9810 is a solid device and it unfortunately under rated from users who have not tried it and form opinions based on the 9800!
