I am at the position of having a 9700 which is like 3-4 months old. However, since day one, the speaker part of the phone really giving me problem. I had changed for a new phone and yes the company replace me with a new phone but after sometime, I still notice the same problem over and over again. So I am kinda bored trying to explain to them the same old thing.

Suddenly I thought of this. How about trading my 9700 to the same shop and just pay the difference 9and try to get a good deal) for 9780. What do you think?

I am actually weighing whether to buy a 9780 (original plan was to save up money until end of Q2 then see if new phone is released by RIM) or a newer phone.

So basically, 9700 vs 9780 vs future bb? Sorry if this sounds confusing but just want to know what's my best option

9780 twice the memory of the 9700, better camera, runs OS6 better... what's not to love?
You need to make your own decision, but if it was me I would get the 9780.

    Hey Jake Storm!

Thank you for your comment. Yes, you have a very good point there. Well might look into 9780 and see when to get it...haha!

FYI, I'm sticking with my 9700 until it stops working completely. That's me. You should do it too, since you'll see at least 30 devices pass you by and you'll be moving smoothly and avoiding those bumps and pot holes each device makes during it's use as they get made in the factory.

Think about it and appreciate what you currently have, what if it all went away?
