this phone was dropped in water, immediatly following it was dropped on the floor. The red light keeps blinking, the key pad lights up and sometimes if i hit the power button it will stop blinking red and blink green/yellow and make the sound like i am recieving a text. i am sure the screen is broken, but i cant be sure. also I tried to call it with the sim card in while in every form and nothing. also sometimes the redlight stops and they keypad is lit up, but it is dim
If you didnt remove the battery immediately after getting it out of the water, then most likely you have real problems. It's not necessarily the water that kills a phone, its the electrical short that occurs. I would try the device in a bag of dry, uncooked rice trick for a day or two, and then try it again, but take the battery out now.
